The once-in-a-while blog.

Sometimes I like to waste time on here, you know, for old times sake.

Emily and I were talking yesterday about how much we miss the 'xanga days'.

We had no lives, and the most popular of us - the true xanga royalty- tried to act like we had lives. But come on, we posted like once a DAY...how pathetic is that??

Emily and I were also musing about how much we desperately miss the adorable smiley faces.

So that being said, I am dedicating this smiley to Emily;

His name is George and he is your friend, and forever reminder of your beloved xanga.

Life has gotten a bit hectic, and I am starting college classes (!!!!!) in just a week or so. How ridiculous is that?! I'm excited, but I'm also realizing that it means that a lot of my foolish time wasting has to end. I love to just skip out of school to go do something fun with my friends (yes, I have real life friends, thank you)...and I can't just do that if I have actual CLASS that I have to go to and do homework for. I will miss the flexibility very much.

Then comes the realization that HELLO..I am GRADUATING. I have to plan a graduation. a party. and have pictures taken. and then SEND them to people!

That makes me happy, because everyone knows that Mackenzee loves parties. But it's also sad. Because it means that this part of my life is over. I will probably never suffer through Greek, struggle through Algebra, and choke my way through ancient History! In a way, that is sad. In a way, it is happy. It makes me so confuzzled in my brain!

Sigh.
Oh, and, all of you are invited to my graduation party. Hehe. We will put people...uh...in the yard. or something. Haha. That would actually be hilarious. My entire backyard filled with tents of homeschoolers and former homeschoolers and their families. It's definitely an entertaining image.

I can hear my siblings arguing about who is going to squish the moths in the kitchen. Allie says 'Go squish them! I have to make lunch!' (when she wanted to do something else, she didn't have TIME to make lunch, only a few minutes ago!) and Savannah SCREAMS 'NO!! MOTHS ARE DISGUSTING AND I AM NOT GOING TO SQUISH IT!!!!!!!!!!!'

It's making me laugh.
Anderson adds his two cents 'ha ha. you have to squish 'em. they're GWOTH! [translation; gross]'

I will probably end up going in there and killing the offending flying objects myself.

Okay. I've wasted enough time & my room needs cleaning...and I'm hungry.

With lots of love,
KenzyBeth

FIRST!!! (remember when being first was amazing, because people actually got a LOT of comments? THOSE were the days. )

Xanga posts from my old xanga buddies make me so happy. What doesn't make me happy is reading all my old posts. Emily had me doing that yesterday. It's so embarrassing, seeing how immature I was. But like I said to Emily... I'll look back a few years from now at how I am now and think the same thing.

I envy you and your real life friends. I go places too. But I co with Holly and Sean. We chill at Starbucks. Because we're just cool.

Moths really aren't disgusting enough to be smushed. I think smushing them would be worse. Because they're kind of... *thick* And when you smush them, JUICE probably comes out. *shudder* And even *I* admit that that's just unpleasant.

I'm graduating tooooo. Yay me! :D K

enzy, this green happy, lovey apple on your site is staring at me, and it's disturbing.

Aww, thank you so much, dear. I'm sure I will treasure George forever. And I will try very hard to come out to your graduation party. :)

aye yes. those infamous "xanga days" of less than 5 posts per week meant you were dying, sick, or totally unable to reach a computer. alas. Now we're addicted to facebook. And i find it scary that YOU are graduating. Just think, it was only like threeish years ago that we campaigned together with GenJ. Oh my. I feel so very old. :/
